Cp Goertz Berlin S Free Game FixThe biggest totally free game fix trainer library online for PC Games. IThe lens is in barrel and is f6.8. The lens reads Goerz Optical Co., Inc No. It has the original leather lens cap and the glass is spotless There was a board that showed what appertures to use for magnification that said 8 14 inch Artar. It seems to me that Artara are f9 while Dagors are f6.8. Software Serial Numbers Vivitar Lens Serial Numbers If anyone has a list of Goerz serial numbers, or any info as to the type of lens this is, help would be greatly appreciated. The Dagors consist of two sets of cemented triplets symmetrically arranged around a stop, while the Artars consist of 4 air spaced elements. If you shine a flashlight into the lens and slowly rotate the lens, you can study the reflections off each element. Air spaced elements will yield bright reflections at each air-glass interface, while cemented elements will yield a dim reflection at each cemented interface. So the Artar should show you eight bright reflections (from four air spaced elements - each element has two air-glass interfaces). The Dagor will show you four bright reflections (from the air-glass interfaces) and four dim reflections (from the cemented interfaces). My 1971 Professional Photographic catalog shows both a Goertz Red Dot Artar and Golden dagor in 8 14 inch210mm Barrel Mounts. The list prices were 239.80281.60 bucks. The Artar is a process lens and has less angular coverage. In the 8 14 lenses; the Artar had F stops from F9 to F 64; and the Dagor from F6.8 to F45.The Max film size covered at maximum aperture is listed as 4x6 for the Artar and 5x8 for the Dagor. The Artar and dagor are listed in the still camera lenses tables; but only the Artar is listed in the Goertz section of the Process lenses table. The Artar is slightly asymetrical; and works best around 1:1 to 1:4. It has low distortion like all process lenses; and wasis used to photograph flat objects like artwork; engineering drawings; circuit board artwork. Most of these process lenses are used with KodalithFuji Ortho High contrast negatives. Most all are single coated; because they are used in a low flare process camera situation. The process lenses we use are the APO Ronars; they are F9 lenses; but are almost always used at F22. An old Schneider graph from 1970 shows their process lens is best from 1:1 to 1:5; their Componon Enlarging lens best from 1:6 to 1:12; and a camera lens from 1:12 to infinity. A process lens can be used at infinity; but the distortion is not zero; the lens is darn slow; and its performance is a good bit less than a standard 4 element Tessar lens that is optimized for infinity; of 1:50. For experimention; and many subjects; a process lens may be ok when used as a general camera lens. It is not the best lens for general camera work; but is not a real dog either. But when actually used at say 1:2; the coverage is much better; because the bellows is extended alot. The easiest fix would be to remove the outer ring and fit waterhouse stops or washer stops. You could goggle iris aperture and see if anyone has them in the right size but thats expensive and time comsuming to fit and scale. I did that for the 480, handy but I think you should try the washer stops first to see which fstop you usually use OR if you use all of them. I have a 420 also, and it has had rave reviews from any print I have presented.
